HHS presents 2018 One Acts

Auditions have commenced, and Royal Production’s 2018 One Act plays are soon to be performed. 7 p.m., Feb. 1, 2, 3, the lights of the HHS little theatre will dim, performers debuting their one act productions.

As the holidays approach many friend groups and classrooms gather to organize a secret santa or holiday friend exchange. Ms. April Felt, math, has organized a secret holiday friend exchange. Classmates chose their person in early December and will be exchanging Dec. 22.

On Feb. 10th AJ Condon, senior, will be traveling to Livermore, CA for a chance to tryout with 100 others from around the country for a spot on the U-20 USA ultimate frisbee team. Hopkins Ultimate has been a strong club team in the past years with great players helping carry the team.

Sophomores receive drivers’ licenses

In order for teenagers to get their licenses they need 30 hours of classroom instruction, written test, six hours of driving around with a stranger, 50 hours of supervised driving, and a cost of around $300.

With all of the clubs that HHS has had in the past, HHS has never had a club that helps animals in need. Two passionate students, Shoshanna Piefer and Zoe Sax, juniors, along with their advisor, Ms. Brett Schulze, social studies, have answered the call of duty.
