On Fri., Feb. 2, the Royals boys’ basketball team will start a tough stretch to end the regular season.

Girls basketball looks to take down Spuds

At 2:00 pm on Jan. 27 the Hopkins Royals will take on the Moorhead Spuds at Moorhead high school. The team will begin their three hour journey by bus Friday afternoon, and stay overnight in order to be prepared for their game on Saturday.

The Royals boys’ basketball team continues to extend their win streak and prove why they are the best team in Minnesota. After back-to-back wins against the Wayzata Trojans and the Totino-Grace Eagles, the Royals have kept their top seed in Minnesota and have moved up to number 19 in the nation.
