Royals drop last game of Regular season to Cards

Last Wed., Oct. 18, the Royals’ football team had their last regular season game against the Coon Rapid Cardinals.

Tomorrow, October 18th, the Royals regular season will come to an end after they play the Coon Rapids Cardinals at 7:00 pm. The game will be played on Wednesday instead of Friday due to the MEA break.
Swimmers from the Royals and Orioles take their mark on the starting blocks before competing in the 500 freestyle during the meet on Oct. 16.

A grand finale

Last Thursday, the Royals girls swim and dive team competed against St. Louis Park in their last home meet of the season.

As the new turf field takes shape, student athletes of HHS see a bright future in the soccer, baseball, and softball programs. If you look out of the west wing’s windows, you will see green turf laid out on various parts of the gray rubber granules.

The eighth seeded Royals start their section journey tonight against ninth seeded Richfield High School. Richfield has had their fair share of struggles this year in the Metro West conference having an overall record of 2-9-1. Richfield also lost all of their conference games this season. They’re known for being a physical team that gets a little too chippy at times.

The Royals boys soccer have a tough Lake Conference matchup against the Minnetonka Skippers who have been having a successful season. The Skippers are going into this game with a record of 9-3-1. They’ve played well during a tough soccer schedule and will bring the fight tonight.
