Parker Stoddard, junior, is a captain for the 2018 season for the Hopkins Royals softball team. The girls softball team is a very talented team that won sections last year and will look to repeat that achievement this season.

The Royals softball team traveled to Maple Grove on Friday to face the Crimson in a non-conference matchup, looking to extend their undefeated record to 5-0.

Today the Royals girls Softball team will head to Maple Grove for an out of conference game. This game comes after a strong showing from the Royals on Monday where they defeated the Edina Hornets 6-1.

MacKenzie Merritt, senior, a passionate and very decorated athlete will be returning in her senior year as a captain, and is looking to lead the Royals back to the state tournament appearances. Merritt started playing softball when she was just eight years old.
