On Monday, Feb 2, the girls nordic team placed second in the section meet and qualified for state. The race consisted of a two 5K races with varying styles of classic and skate pursuit.

The boys nordic team did not qualify as they only placed 4th as a team. However, Dylan Cleary, senior captain, qualified individually to go to state.

The nordic girls and Dylan Cleary will race at the state meet on Feb. 12 at Giants Ridge in Biwabik, Minn.
