As the 2013 football season came to a close, the Hopkins Royals finished the season 2-7 with a loss in section finals to the Wayzata Trojans.

Only winning two games, did not provide many bright spots in a season plagued by injuries. 44 players started at a position this season in nine total games.

Although, the team did not always perform well, many individuals did.

Linebacker Andre Chisley and wide-out Terrance Bowers, seniors, and defensive end Webb Bolstad, junior, were selected as All-Lake Conference players by the coaches of the Lake Conference. Coaches cannot select their own players.

Offensive linemen Matt Parker and Zach Johnson, seniors were selected as All-Lake Conference honorable mention, along with three junior defensive players Joey Mydra, Zach Haley, and Zy Mosely.

HHS is returning many starters on both sides of  the ball next season.
