On a stormy Tuesday night, the HHS girls lacrosse team took on the Eden Prairie Eagles in their second Lake Conference meeting.

The first matchup came on April 16 as the Royals found themselves losing 16-1. The margin was closer this go around as the Royals lost 14-7 on senior night.

With the loss, the Royals are now 2-7 on the year.

“It was tough to lose on senior day but everyone played their hardest and I’m so proud to have played my last home game with all of them,” said McKenna Moe, senior and captain of the team.

The girls are going to continue to put up a fight in the games to come and might possibly have the chance to redeem themselves in a section game against Eden Prairie.

“Everyone played hard,” said Sammi Gallinson, sophomore, “Tough loss but we will bounce back.”

Up next, the Royals will play Minnetonka on Thursday May 7.
