Personal Finance students receive college credit

Morgan Downing, Staff Reporter

Today, HHS announced that Personal Finance students would receive one college credit from North Hennepin Community College (NHCC) for taking the course.

In order to receive the credit, juniors and seniors must maintain a 2.0 GPA or above and have a passing grade by the end of the term. The credit can also be used by any colleges or universities that accept the NHCC credit.

While the credit is an opportunity for all students who are taking the class, it is not going to be required. Personal Finance will still be a one-quarter class that counts as a credit toward high school graduation.

Students that are interested in taking part in the credit option have to turn in their registration forms by Thurs., Dec. 4th.
