Boys swim and dive compete in first dual meet

Despite the loss, the Royals have celebrated many wins, including Avery Martens-Goldman, sophomore captain, placing first in the 100 breaststroke, and a close second place in the 200 medley relay for Elliot Berman, seventh grade, and Michael Korsh, Ethan Rosenthal, and Gabe Silva Reina, sophomores.

Girls swim competes at section meet

One of the biggest highlights for the Royals was a third place finish in the 400 free relay swam by Berman, Ashby, Ellen Hofstede, freshman, and Ellen Sussman, junior.

On Oct. 24, the junior varsity girls Swim and Dive team ended their season with the JV Conference Championships at Edina’s Art Downey Aquatic Center.

Girls swim wins first dual meet in eight years

Last night, the girls varsity swim team won their last home meet of the season against Fridley and Totino Grace. This was the first dual meet the Royals team has won in eight years.

On Sept. 3, the girls swim team lost to the Chaska Hawks in a dual meet. While it was a tough loss, the second meet of the season emphasized what the girls need to improve.

Boys swim and dive wins home opener

On Thurs. Jan. 8 the boys swim and dive team held a home meet against Watertown-Mayer. The boys won the meet by a score of 102-81.
