Girls Cross Country showing immense strides

Laci Provenzano, junior, has been running varsity cross country since her freshman year, the same year she started. She placed third out of 129 people in the girls varsity cross country race on Sept. 5. She ran a 5k (3.1 miles) in 19:14 which averages to a 6:18 mile.

Four Royals participate at State for cross country

On Saturday, Nov. 5 the HHS cross country team had their State meet, held at the St. Olaf campus. The Royals had four runners who qualified for the race: Seth Eliason, senior, and Eli Hoeft, sophomore, for the boys, and Renae Anderson and Bit Klecker, seniors, for the girls.

Boys cross country chases down history

On Saturday, the boys lined up at the start of the course to compete in the biggest race of their lives and in the history of Hopkins distance running.
The Royals boys team stands with their first place trophy at the Nike Cross Regional meet. They won with a 60 point margin on Nov. 15.
