Envirothon, an academic club that focuses on environmental themes, will compete in the state competition next week.
Harry Jensen, senior, Erik Muus, Kamal Baker, and Isaac Johnson, juniors, compete in a Comedy Sportz tournament. They competed against Chanhassan and Edina.

A different kind of sportz club

The Comedy Sportz business was started in 1984 in Milwaukee, Wis. by Dick Chudnow. Since then, 19 schools in the Twin Cities have started clubs that imitate the business.

As part of this celebration, during all three lunches, HHS Earth Club is selling custom designed reusable water bottles and succulent plants.

Over 30 students auditioned for the HHS men’s a capella group Geoff on April 20. Of those who auditioned, only six were chosen, giving the group a total of nine members for next year.

GSA becomes more inclusive with QROM

Queer Prom (QROM) is hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) club. This year, 70 HHS students attended, and 50 students from other schools around the metro attended. The event aims to provide a safe environment for local teens who may not be comfortable expressing their sexual identity elsewhere, or who want to show support for the queer community.
