Emma Roth, senior, is the Royal of the Month this February. Roth is involved in varsity golf, NHS, and classes including Anatomy & Physiology and AP Macroeconomics.

What kind of studying habits do you maintain, and how do they help you to do well in school?

My older brother had really good strategies and he was a great student, so that set an example for me. My parents are very invested in my education as well. I like to challenge myself. I like to make flashcards.

What’s your favorite subject?

Science, biology, and math are my favorites. Also English, but I don’t like English as much as science.

What are your plans after high school?

I’m going to college, but I don’t know where yet. I will be studying biological sciences with pre-med emphasis.

What teacher has been a role model for you?

There have been a lot of great ones. Profe Owen’s enthusiasm for his work has really inspired me to embrace my learning experience and learn about new cultures. Mr. Dart is also one of my favorite teachers. Everyday you leave class and have a new perspective on the world.
