As the end of the Twins season comes to an end there is only a few things that the twins will want to remember from a season that could be the worst in MLB history.

According to the statistics, the Minnesota Twins are the worst team in Major League Baseball, with a record of 57-102. They have already started contacting people for management positions for next season and the present season is not even finished yet.

Although there is no hope left in this season, there is a couple of bright spots for Twins baseball.

Brian Dozier, starting second baseman, is second in the league in Home Runs with 42, additionally, Dozier leads the Twins in RBI’s (99), hits (164), and batting average (.270). Joe Mauer, starting first baseman leads the team in On Base Percentage with .363.

Loyal Twins fan, Nate Johnson, senior, is very disappointed with the team’s efforts this season.

“We’re very bad this year. Ever since we got the new stadium it’s been terrible, our record is actually laughable. I think t-ball teams have higher win percentages,” Johnson said.

Hopefully the Twins can pick up a couple of wins at the end of this season, so the fans have something to look forward to next season.
