Girls tennis crushes Jaguars

Last Friday, the Royals girls tennis team faced off against Bloomington-Jefferson Jaguars.

In their last two matches, the Royals lost to the Eagan Wildcats and the Wayzata Trojans.

Coming into the match, Bloomington-Jefferson had lost four of their last five matches.

The Royals came out strong and took the match 7-0. The number one singles Maddie Suk, freshman, number three singles Lynsey Novak, senior, and the number three doubles team of Carli Wolpert, freshman, and Alex Hilst, senior all cruised to 6-0 wins.

With wins all around for the Royals, this match was a huge confidence booster.

The Royals  are hoping make a run into the playoffs.

The next match is on Sept. 28 at 4 pm at HHS against the Benilde St. Margaret’s Red Knights.
