On Friday, April 10, students from around the metro rocked out at the ninth annual Battle of the Bands fundraiser.

Battle of the Bands was sponsored by a non-profit organization called Teens Alone. Teens Alone provides free and confidential counseling and crisis services to youth and adults in the western suburbs.

The event was put on by the Teens Alone Youth Advisory Board and held at The Depot Coffee House.

The bands who performed were Christmas in July (Eden Prairie High School), Local Motive (Mainstreet High School), Crosswalk (St. Louis Park High School) and Lyposuction (Wayzata High School).

All of the proceeds from the event went to Teens Alone.
