Softball enters sections with number one rank

Today, the softball team begins their journey to state after a great season for the girls finishing with a (9-9-0) record and a (5-4-0) record in the Lake Conference.

Double-header stands between softball and state

Tonight, the Royals will face second-seeded Buffalo, a team with a 17-5 overall record, at 5 p.m. at Miller Park in Eden Prairie. If the Royals beat the Bison at 5, they will face off again at 7 p.m.

After losing the first four games of the season, the Royals softball team turned the season around and has received the top seed in the section 6AAA tournament.

On Tuesday, May 5, the Royals (5-7) hosted Robbinsdale Armstrong (0-11) for a 13-3 win on senior day.
