New faces lead the pack as the Royals start the nordic season

The Royals boys and girls nordic teams had their first meet yesterday at Elm Creek Monday Dec. 19.

The boys team came ended up in fifth place overall. Although, Hopkins came in last in the conference, Logan Hoffman, junior skied very well and came in ninth overall.

The girls on the other hand came in third as they were led by Lauren Munger, seventh grader, who came in 13th in her very first high school meet.

The Royals boys and girls will look to bounce back next meet Jan. 4, at the Hyland Park Reserve.
