Oct 28, 2016

The Royals are set to play the Farmington Tigers, tonight. Tonight marks the first game of Sections for both the Royals and the Tigers. The fourth seeded Royals are coming into tonights game with a record of 3-5, while the fifth seeded Tigers are coming into tonights game with a record of 4-4.

Boye Mafe, senior, is looking to make a presence on the defensive side of the ball tonight against the Tigers.

“I expect both teams to come out with high intensity, the progress the team has made throughout the season will definitely show in tonight’s game,” Mafe said. “Despite the seeding for teams, every game should be close.”

One of Farmington’s notable wins from this season, was against the Rosemount Irish, on October 7th. The Irish currently have a record of 7-1, with their only loss being to the Tigers.

Tonight’s game will take place at 7, at the Hopkins High School Stadium.
