Volleyball preview: Visiting the Trojans

With a win over Roseville, one of the top five teams in state last year, the Royals volleyball started off the season with a 5-0 record.

Last Thursday, the girls played Roseville and beat them in three sets. Today, they visit Wayzata, who got second place in the Southwest MN Tournament this past weekend.

“They have some strong hitters and are one of the best in the conference,” said Tara Lee, junior.

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. the Royals will travel to Wayzata to face the Trojans at Wayzata high school with hopes of improving their record to 6-0.

“[The Royals] are really looking forward to [the game],” said Lee. “They are very beatable if we win the serve and continue to play like we have.”
