Tonight, Friday, April 15, the Royals will host the Hornets from Edina in a Lake Conference showdown. The Royals will look to keep up their good start to the season with another win.

The Royals started off the season on Monday, April 11, with a 1-0 victory over the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons. Jon Koch, senior, pitched a 6 inning shutout before Zach Savitz, senior, pitched the last inning and got the save.

The Hornets opened up their season on Tuesday, April 12, by winning 4-0 over the Benilde-St.Margaret´s Red Knights.

In the Royals’ first game, they went scoreless in six of the seven innings, so they will look to put more runs on the board.

After the Royals face the Hornets tonight, they play again on Tuesday, April 19 when they will travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minneapolis Washburn Millers.
