Boys hockey game cancelled

Tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 2, the Royals boys hockey team were set to face-off against the Holy Family Catholic Fire. Due to severe weather warnings and immense snowfall, the game has been cancelled.

The Fire have a record of 16-3-0, and are currently placed first in their division with nine wins. The leading goal scorer for the Fire is Will Garin, who has 21 goals on the season.

The Royals have a record of 6-13-1 coming into the matchup against the Fire. The Royals leading point scorer is, Nate Nelsen, senior, and has put up 14 goals, along with 12 assists on the season. The Royals are currently last in the Lake Conference and are still seeking out their first conference win of the season.

According to Holy Family, there is “No makeup date yet if any.” The next scheduled game is Feb. 4 against Duluth East.
