As a new student to HHS this year, Michael Hirschuber, senior, is already known as one of the many talented students at that record their own songs.

Hirschuber is best known by his stage name, Absolute.

“I chose the name Absolute because I feel like it promotes what I want to be known as, which is someone who wants to rap about real world things,” Hirschuber said.

He fell in love with the name right away because he knew it would tell people what type of message he wanted to rap about.

Hirschuber came out with his first song, “Weight,” a year ago. Since the release, he’s been building his music career.

Hirschuber looks to his favorite rapper “Logic” for inspiration and drive to create music.

“[Logic has] always been my favorite artist because I feel like the theme of his songs best represent the message I try to get across,” Hirschuber said.

Hirschuber plans to release his next mixtape on Soundcloud early October. He wants to break away from rapping about randomized thoughts, and advance into rapping about people’s different perspectives.
