On Thursday, January 22, the HHS boys hockey team lost to Edina in the Braemar Ice Arena by a score of of 8-4. The Royals fell behind early in the gamer after Edina’s four girl first period. Led by Matt Masterman’s two early goals, the Hornets took the lead and never looked back.

The Royals will look forward to a tough stretch of conference games where six of their next seven games will be against Lake Conference foes. With exception to the Royals, every team in the Lake Conference is ranked inside the top ten teams in state, led by Edina which is currently second only to undefeated Lakeville North.
