After some intense research, it was found that Theodore Wirth Park has some of the least expensive snow tubing around. The best part is there is a tow rope so you don’t even have to walk up the hill.

Visit the Ice Castles in Eden Prairie

The Ice Castle in Eden Prairie is made up of 20,000,000 pounds of ice that has formed to make a cave with high walls, doors, and hallways.

Candlelight ski session 

Candlelight ski and snowshoe events are held all throughout January and February at state parks in Minn. These events occur at night when it gets dark, people are guided through the paths with candles.

Explore Minnehaha Falls

Polar Plunge

In Jan through March all over Minnesota, people pay money to jump into a freezing lake. It’s not all bad though, the money goes to an organization that helps sponsor Special Olympics Minnesota.
