On. Jan 13, the girls hockey team played against Wayzata. The Trojans were up 3-0 before the Royals got on the board. The Royals tallied their first and only goal of the game 4:47 into the third period with a goal from Rachael St. Clair, senior. The Trojans went on to win the game by a score of 3-1. During the game, the Royals were outshot 27-21.

“We didn’t come onto the ice ready to play. There was not enough energy and intensity. Next time we have to be more focused in warm ups and try to get the lead early,” said Hope Docter, junior.

The Royals hope to rebound on Saturday Jan. 17 against Lake Conference foe Eden Prairie.
