The gymnastics team won against Southwest on Dec. 18. Grace O’Neil, junior, and June Varin, senior, placed first and third individually overall, respectively.

“It felt great to win, and even better that we got our team high score of the season,” said Marya Zdechlik, senior and captain. “Our team has been working hard to pull together clean routines and it was great to see that hard work pay off at this meet.”

Almost halfway through the season, the team has already lost two gymnasts to injuries. The team’s next meet is an invitational at Gustavus College on Jan. 3.
