On Nov. 6, the girls swim team headed to their section meet at Edina. They competed against eight other teams, including conference rivals Edina and Eden Prairie.
“Everyone swam really well at the section meet, some people swam the best they have all season. Everyone [got a personal record] in at least one of their events, some only shaved off .2 of a second and others went down by 2 seconds,” said Sarah Lentsch, senior.
The Royals swam strong at the meet, and ten of them are moving on the the section finals on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Art Downey Aquatic Center.
