ProPEL throws Halloween party

Tomorrow, ProPEL is having their first ever Halloween party to raise money for Simpson Housing Services, an organization that supports and houses people experiencing homelessness.

Originally, the party was supposed to be held at Eisenhower Elementary, but the venue was changed to Uncle Franky’s, a restaurant in Plymouth.

Jessica Crouser, senior, a member of ProPel is excited for their first big fundraiser.

“I think we’re going to have a really good turnout. So far we’ve already sold over 100 tickets, and the venue only holds 145 people so it’s going to be pretty packed,” Crouser said.

ProPEL is doing this fundraiser as a part of a class assignment. This teaches them how to communicate with people.

“ For the party we have food, drinks, and a really good DJ. So, its going to be a lot of fun and I hope that everyone comes out because the Simpson House is a great organization that helps a lot of people,” said Robbie Palkert, senior.

The ProPel Halloween party starts at 8 pm and ends at 11 pm.
