This past weekend, the boys lacrosse team took second in the Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament. This tournament acts as an annual fundraiser for the HHS lacrosse program.

Before the tournament began, the Royals faced a team from Manitoba, Canada on Friday Oct. 24 that served as a warmup game for the tournament. The Royals won the game handedly by a score of 18-4. The Royals were dominant on both the offensive and defensive side of field. Hat tricks, a compilation of three or more goals, were scored by both Andrew Wallace-Jackson, senior, and Kamal Baker, junior.

Throughout the weekend, the Royals went 4-2 earning a championship game berth, in which they lost 8-7 to Maple Grove. The Royals lost their two games by a combined two goals.
