Paige Bueckers returns to Minnesota for the NCAA Final Four game. Bueckers plays for University of Connecticut as they face Stanford for a shot at the championship game.

Bueckers will attempt to extend her legacy in Minnesota. Already known as Gatorade National Player of the Year, USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year, and many other features during her time at HHS alone, Bueckers’ talent and fame have not stopped growing.

She has spent much of this season on the bench due to a left knee injury but has helped push UConn to success during March Madness.

HHS students, families, staff, and alumni all feel a close connection to tonight’s game as Bueckers proudly reps the Hopkins name. HHS organized a watch party at the school and allowed any with ties to Hopkins to send in celebratory and encouraging messages to create a video for Bueckers.

Being back at home, everyone hopes to see Bueckers succeed with all of her biggest supporters so close by. Fans are excited and hopeful for Bueckers to take this win and lead her team to earn the title of NCAA National Champions.
