Club Spotlight: Ping Pong Club

Oct 2, 2018

There are a variety of different clubs at HHS and one that stands out from the rest is Ping Pong Club.

“I was the only non-senior in the club when my brother started it, so I decided I would run it once they all graduated in order to keep the club up and running,” said Luke Polyak, senior.

The club meets to play a few rounds of ping pong every Monday morning at 7:10 in the gym.

Ping Pong Club is not only for students who are serious about ping pong. In fact, anyone with any skill set can join.

“It is a super chill club, where we just hang out and play ping pong uncompetitively. Sometimes we even provide donuts. It is a great place to hang out on Monday mornings,” Polyak said.

The club is full of around sixty five students, though the first meeting only around seventeen showed up. The club is hopefully expanding through Polyak’s promotions.

“At the last football game, I was promoting the club and telling everyone to come,” Polyak said.

Whether looking for a fun club or just a time to play ping pong, this club may be a perfect way for some HHS students to spend their Monday morning.
