Why did you decide to run for the VP of HHS Student Council?

I want to see if there is anything that I can better change in the school as well as for the students. I think it would be a fun experiences and it will help change at least something.

What is one specific initiative that you want to bring up and have student council work on next year?

I want to bring up more communication with students and staff members as well as bring up more awareness with the junior highs. The mental health issues that have been very prominent recently are is something I think is a big issue and that I will try to work on.

How do you feel about the election being open to the entire HHS student body?

I think it is an awesome idea and it gives people exposure to us and what we do so I think it’ll be a great time.

How are you going to work to make student council more transparent in the future?

We will just try to get the word out as much as possible on our website and on social media as much as possible.

What do you think Student Council can improve on?

As a whole I think we can work on fluidity as well as getting out there to the students more.

Do you have any ideas on how you want to address the mental health issue on a student council level?

There is a program going on right now and we are asking students to go around and help with the cause. The normal stuff. Also just being a nice person.
