New wave of clubs begin at HHS
Sep 8, 2017
With every new year at HHS comes a new wave of clubs and after-school groups for students to participate in. From Fishing Club to Ping Pong Club, to even K-Pop Club, the assortment of extracurriculars is always colorful, and student’s hopes and expectations for this year are no different.
“I honestly think a game design club would be cool,” said Wilder Sovereign, junior. “I feel like it will give students a lot of opportunities to grow in a field they may not be comfortable in. And with the world becoming more digital, students need to grow and adapt to succeed, and I feel like this is a great starting point.”
Of course, technology isn’t the only thing that’s highlighted in HHS clubs.
“Car club, man. I think a lot of students at HHS have an appreciation for cars, and a car club would honestly be really cool,” said Marley Goral, senior. “It seems like nobody really acknowledges the fact that the entire student body is into it.”
Any student can start a club by heading over to the activities office in Lindbergh Center and grab the application forms from the desk.
