For the 24th straight season, the Royals eclipsed the 20 win mark. The last time the boys basketball team did not reach over 20 wins was during the 1990-1991 season, the first season at HHS for Mr. Ken Novak Jr., head coach and social studies.

The girls basketball team beat the eighth-seeded St. Louis Park Orioles 92-44 in the opening round of the Section 6AAAA playoffs. With the win, the Royals advance to the section semifinal game against Edina.

The second-seeded boys basketball team tipped off postseason play on Wednesday Feb. 25 with a dominating performance over seventh-seeded St. Louis Park. The win comes as no surprise as the Royals controlled the game from start to finish.
