Fantasy football heats up during final weeks of NFL

As the first week of the fantasy football playoffs have come and gone, fantasy football leagues all around HHS have come a week closer to crowning their respective champions. Leagues of friends, classmates, and sports teammates will continue to compete until there is just one winner.

OP/ED: Edina hosts ultimate All-Star game at US Bank Stadium

On Sunday, December 1st the first ever ultimate frisbee game was held in U.S Bank stadium. The game featured two games side by side. Two Minnesota All-Star rosters were created to take on the Edina boys and girls teams, being Edina vs. Minnesota.

There aren’t many times someone could say that Hopkins is coming in as the underdogs in a basketball game. 
Paige Bueckers, senior, in last years state championship. Bueckers and the Royals will face a real test this Friday, against Farmington.

Girls basketball to face test against Farmington

After starting the season 5-0 and winning every game by at least 35 points, the Hopkins girls basketball team will have their first real challenge on friday against Farmington.

Girls basketball expecting huge year after state championship

When a team has a season like the Hopkins Royals girls basketball team had last year, it is difficult to raise the bar even higher. Their undefeated season culminated in their first Class 4A state championship victory since 2015 and they steamrolled through everyone the state had to offer.

As the college signing season has come and gone, Hopkins baseball has yet another Division 1 baseball talent. Joey Hurth, senior, has committed to play baseball at Indiana State University.

Hopkins football receives recruitment interest

The Hopkins Football program, while not always having the best team success, has almost always had players go on to the next level and play college football. This year the Royals have had both a successful record of 6-2 and several players receive interest from all NCAA and NAIA divisions.
