With the signing period starting in the beginning of November, pitcher, Wyatt Nelson, senior, has committed to NDSU to continue his baseball career. Nelson was being recruited to seven different Division 1 colleges but only received scholarship offers from North Dakota State University (NDSU), South Dakota State University (SDSU), and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The Hopkins Pavilion has been a staple in the city since the early 90s. Over the past year, the Pavilion has been receiving renovations. The construction has been in the works since June of 2017.

Last Friday, September 14th, the Royals football team hosted Armstrong to face the Falcons in their third game of the season. The Royals fell to the Falcons 41-37. Coming into the game at 1-1, the Royals have been struggling to stop the run game, and it didn’t get much better against the Falcons.

Zeke Nnaji, senior, is ranked 37th in the ESPN Top 100 boys basketball players in the country.  He has received offers to go to 25 different Division 1 colleges. Big name schools include, Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio State, UCLA, the University of Minnesota, and many more.
