Starting the first week of school with hotter than average temperatures, the football team was in the midst of preparing to take on reigning state champions Eden Prairie.
On Sept. 3, the girls swim team lost to the Chaska Hawks in a dual meet. While it was a tough loss, the second meet of the season emphasized what the girls need to improve.
Thursday morning, the Royals cross country teams took their talents to St. Olaf College at the St. Olaf Showcase meet. The Royals boys team went into the meet ranked 14 in the nation. with senior captain Owen Hoeft ranked second individual in state.
