April 21 is one of the most anticipated events for music lovers and vinyl collectors alike. Every year around mid to late April, Record Store Day is a day to celebrate independently owned music stores around the world. According to the RSD website, roughly 1400 stores participate on every continent in the world. Some cities, including New York City and Los Angeles, have gone so far as to name Record Store Day an official holiday.

When I walked into the movie theater to watch Black Panther on its opening weekend, the energy in the room was something I had never felt before. After the movie trailers were done and the lights dimmed, the whole room roared with applause as the movie began. I knew then that it was going to be an awesome experience.

Logic is a rapper out of Maryland, who came from very humble beginnings to become one of the most interesting rappers over the past few years following a release of a bevy of mixtapes and his debut album Under Pressure, which received a lot of critical praise.
