Sushi Fix, located in downtown Wayzata on Lake Minnetonka, is bringing the quality sushi that Minnesota has long deserved.

Though the food takes a while to make, it is well worth the wait. Sushi Fix’s specialty rolls are prepped in an open kitchen, allowing you to watch all of your orders be made. You can literally observe through a glass window as the chefs prepare your rolls.

On its menu, Sushi Fix has many traditional rolls available, including salmon, yellowtail, and sea bass, but it is also home to nearly two dozen specialty rolls unique to the restaurant. These specialty rolls are hard to find anywhere else in the state.

One of the restaurant’s signature rolls is the “Number 9,” containing shrimp tempura, cucumbers, yamagobo, spiced aioli sauce, topped with salmon and avocado. Though it comes in with eight rolls, the dish will be gone shortly after you got it.

We also tried the “Mistletoe” roll, which includes soft shell crab, topped with tuna, eel, snapper, salmon, avocado, and spicy aioli sauce.

In addition to its specialty rolls, Sushi Fix also serves sashimi, nigiri, and several different starters, including edamame and seaweed salad, as well as many non-sushi entrees.

Located on the edge of Lake Minnetonka, Sushi Fix is attracting customers with its prime location and high quality sushi that is hard to find anywhere else in Minnesota. With its innovative and unique rolls, I am confident that Sushi Fix is here to stay.
