Boys basketball looks to sweep Eden Prairie

Tomorrow, the second ranked Hopkins Royals (19-1)  will host the fifth ranked Eden Prairie Eagles (15-4) in a battle between top ten teams.

HHS defeated the Eagles 88-73 in their last matchup on Tuesday Jan. 21. Jake Wright, senior, and Amir Coffey, sophomore, scored 26 and 21 points respectively the Royals.

Eden Prairie guard Andre Wallace, senior, scored 21 points in the Eagles failing effort

If Hopkins wins tomorrow, they will move to 5-0 in conference play putting Eden Prairie two games back in the Lake.

With the regular season almost over, HHS has five remaining games after tomorrow’s game, three in the Lake conference.
