Tuesday Taste: J.Selby’s

November 14, 2017

J.Selby’s is a deliciously innovative plant based eatery located in St. Paul, Minnesota. The restaurant officially opened its doors in early 2017, in hopes of giving the community a place that served great plant-based food and only plant-based.

J.Selby’s offers a large and diverse menu, including lunch, dinner, brunch, appetizers, dessert, kid friendly dishes, and a variety of vegan beverages.

The restaurant is partnered with The Herbivorous Butcher, located in North East Minneapolis. Meatless meats from The Herbivorous Butcher are used to imitate traditional American staples; biscuits and gravy, McDonalds Big Mac, a classic cheeseburger, along with a variety of other tasty options.

J.Selby’s also offers their vegan take on a Dairy Queen Blizzard, using soy based soft serve  n’ice cream and a mix of desired toppings to create what they call a SoyClone.

When dining at J.Selby’s, my personal favorites are the Bacun Caesar salad or the Solo Burger followed by a brownie SoyClone.

Vegan or not, if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend stopping for a mouthwatering bite at J.Selby’s. The menu is filled with variety, and offers something for everyone.
