HHS basketball player Amir Coffey, sophomore, was named to the Star Tribune’s All Metro first team.

Coffey averaged 15.1 points per game, shooting 50 percent from the field and 38 percent behind the arc, leading the Royals through sections and into the state tournament.

The All Metro first team also included Duke commit and Metro Player of the Year Tyus Jones of Apple Valley, Stanford commit Reid Travis of DeLaSalle, Albany commit Wheeler Baker of Osseo, and Xavier commit JP Macura of Lakeville-North.

The Royals will play Tartan tomorrow 10 AM at the Target Center
